Vintage Glassware: The Sustainable and Meaningful Way to Light the Flame of Connection Between Women

It’s no secret that we love our candles! Truth be told, one of the reasons we find them so meaningful is because we started leaving one another candles on our doorsteps during Covid. They were our connection to one another when we weren’t physically able to be together. So as we were dreaming up Vita Vi, we knew we wanted candles to be part of our story. We also wanted to make sure they felt unique with intention. Considering our love of all things vintage, a vintage vessel seemed like the perfect pairing.

Repurposing vintage glassware into candles is a sustainable and meaningful way to continue the legacy of connection that these pieces embody. When we transform a vintage glass into a candle, we give it new life while still honoring its past.

Each candle becomes a symbol of the connection between friends, between women, a physical representation of the energy that has been passed down through generations. And as the candle burns, it casts a warm glow that reminds us of the light and love that we share with the women in our lives.

By using vintage glassware to make candles, we're also contributing to a more sustainable future. We're taking an object that might have otherwise been discarded or forgotten and turning it into something useful and beautiful. We're reducing waste and creating something that will bring joy and comfort to ourselves and others.

So, whether you're using vintage glassware as it was originally intended, or repurposing it into a candle, you're honoring the connection between generations of women. You're embracing the idea that we are stronger together, and that the memories and experiences of our ancestors are worth preserving and celebrating. And you're creating a more sustainable and meaningful way to connect with yourself and with others.
